7 months post op (scarf osteotomy) and still doesn't feel/look right

I had a scarf osteotomy in May of this year and the op seemed to have gone well. However, I am still experiencing pain when I walk and my foot swells when I've been standing for long periods. The scar is also sore when touched. Immediately after the operation my big toe was perfectly straight and the bunion had gone completely. Now my big toe is 'leaning' slightly inwards and I appear to have a (slightly smaller) bunion! Scared to go back as I'm worried another op will be needed to correct this 😣

You're right Cluckers. I'm just delaying the inevitable!

How long should it take for the bones to fuse? Sounds more painful than my op 😔

I don't know the surgeon says it can take up to 12 weeks for the fusion to start so go back in Feb 2017

but have to go back to work in Jan
