7 week blip on Zoloft

I need advice please!
I have been on Zoloft for seven weeks. The first three weeks were complete hell. I had little to no sleep and still struggle to get more than four hours a night. But, after three weeks I noticed vast improvement with my anxiety and depression. However, I woke up on Saturday and noticed a bit of anxiety and it has continuously gone downhill since. Today is Tuesday and I haven’t slept in a few days.
Is it normal to have a blip around the seventh week mark? I’m not sure if I need to raise my dosage as I’m at 50 mg now.
I’m afraid to up the dosage now because my sons graduation party is in less than two weeks. I don’t want to go through the hell I went through in the beginning.
Any help, advice or personal experience would be truly appreciated.

Sounds normal. Sounds like you need to increase your dose. Speak to your doctor pronto..if doc agrees on increase then your side effects could well settle again by the time it is your son's graduation. Personally I would increase by 25mg ..break a 50 in half ..take at the same time and drink loads of water. Do deep breathing as it really helps with anxiety..especially panic attacks. Try to cut down on coffee. Good luck ..please keep reading and posting

Ask your doctor for some phenerghan to help you sleep. It's an anti.hystamine and won't leave you drowsy in the morning

I just checked my prescription and it’s the same as before. No change. But I will definitely keep that in mind for the future.
I hope you start to feel relief very soon. What dosage are you on?

Hello, i went through the same thing around week 13 i believe. I was hosting a family reunion and I had stress way above normal . So maybe with the graduation and you stressing about if the meds are going to work might be a factor. If you continue to have such anxiety i would suggest you speak to your doctor. Hope this helps. 😎
