After 23 weeks of taking Sertraline without success I want to wean off. No doctors recommend that all of them say I need to switch to another med, but I don't want to. After 7 months I am still struggling bad, still can't work I've had enough! This is the second med I've been trying and the first was even worse, just don't want to take anything. Is there anyone who felt similar way and stopped and felt better please?

I had to work up to 200 mg and felt terrible for about three months. After it kicked in at that dose, I felt much better and am still taking it 2 years later.

The main issue was that it played havoc with my sleep and destroyed my appetite. It has to build up to a certain level in the brain and it takes time.

Did you feel sick or ill, like the worst hangover during that 3 month please?
