Hi Hilda, my heart goes out to you. I know the feeling of just wanting to feel better and reading your post I know that you just want to feel it OK. I too am on venlaxfaxine, same dose as you but I've been on it for several year s. It's curious how you say you were starting to feel better then the symptoms came back. You poor thing! It's like you build your hopes up and then back to despair. If I were see, I'd see how you go over the weekend and if you still feel wretched by Monday, then make an emergency appointment at your doctors and emphasise how bad you feel. Good luck Hilda, please keep me posted. Big hugs from me, Donna x

Thankyou very much for your words. I know I am getting better but when I wake up with the depersonalization I get very nervous and frustrated I forget about the calm momments I had. You have never had these symptoms before the shakiness and nervous as sidde effects! Did you ever experienced Depersonalization????

Hi Hilda, actually I do. I get very shaky, jittery, my hands tremble and I describe it as my nerves are shot! Can't talk, even my speech is affected. My body feels weak. Isn't that just anxiety? PS how do I place a vote on this forum?

I really dont know how to vote on forums. Sometimes its just nerv racking, How long did it take for your Depersonalization to go away with the velantafaxine??

Hi Hilda, not sure exactly how long but I can say with some certainty that they definitely helped me feel less anxious. I suppose it does vary somewhat from person to person x sorry, I can't be more specific to the time it took x
