Hey guys. i am just starting 100mgs tonight from 75. ive taken 4mgs diazepam to calm me first. i took the sertraline abput an hour ago. im so nervous that i think im overriding tge diazepam. i feel so scared. can someone help.

hi try to sleep through it if you can, good move using the diazepam wisely on occasions that you know you will need it, sometimes when youre overly nervous it doesnt work as well, i take 5mg on a morning and it just takes the edge off for me, did you have bad side effects first starting out on sertraline? how long have you been on if for? hope you feel calmer soon ride that wave!

you will be fine. my mother took diszepam for the first 6 weeks of starting on sertreline, once the sertreline fully kicked in at week 8, she then slowly reduced the diazepam . THE diiazepam wont override the sertraline or stop it from working .
