75mg How long?

Hey guys,
Hope you're doing greattt.
I've upped my dosage from 50mg for 7 weeks to 75mg, which I've been on 3 weeks and a half.
I still have anxiety and honestly a bit of depression. How long does it take for the new dose to actually work? Because I'm sure the Zoloft is causing the increased low mood and anxiety.
Thanks guys,
Sam

Please stick with it. I am so glad I did. I'm now on 150mg and I'm back at work and feeling unbelievably better. I think this med makes your symptoms worse at first and with every increase. I think you need to ask your doctor about increasing ..maybe give it another week. When you reach your dose you will know.
Good luck

Hope your work is going well.
Did Zoloft make you feel numb in the first months? I feel like I’m emotionless sometimes, not happy or sad. Did that fade away?

I was in a mess at the beginning to be honest but I wasn't suffering from depression. Mine was burn out..adrenaline fatigue and anxiety. But I had loads of side effects ..sweats..lying on the bed staring into space with hardly enough energy to go to the loo!.. brain zaps...insomnia..bad bum..palpitations..anxiety attacks...tinnitus. THESE HAVE ALL GONE MAINLY!. This drug is wonderful. The only things I still have are tinnitus...but I can live with that as it's not too deafening and bad bum unfortunately. The doctor sent me for a colonoscopy ...lucky me..and it came back clear. Doc thinks it's sertraline and anxiety and to be honest it seems to be easing off.
As far as feeling numb I felt like I was floating somewhere and that I wasn't real. But that's getting better. It's a slow working drug and it needs time to work. I was off work for about 8 months but am back now. Don't give up...Keep occupied...watch old comedy box sets..When you feel so god damned awful the time goes so slowly. Laughing and crying are good..which incidently I couldn't do really until I reached 100mg.
KEEP GOING...it will be worth it and keep posting. More people need to post when they are better but when you get better you stop going on this forum I suppose!
Good luck
