75mg Sertraline increase

I've been on 75mg Sertraline for about 10 days after initially taking 50mg for 8 weeks before that and have felt no improvement in my anxiety/OCD. Can anyone please tell me if this is unusual to feel no benefits after the time I've been on it or does it take longer for some people?. Thanks.

    I started to feel better between week 7 and 8. Everyone is different. You might have to up it. Talk to ur doctor about it, But u might be having some affects from going to 75. This drug is difficult to figure out since everyone is different and what fits one person might not fit another. But i do agree with most of the people on this forum that it works wonders if you can handle the side affects and the time to figure out the right dosage to take.

      Thanks Brenda, I have to keep hoping that I too will feel the benefits in time.

    I've been on 50mg since the beginning of April and I'm only starting to feel ok during most part of the day now. I still have bad days but one has to believe that we can get through this.

    Give it time

    I have been on a variety of doses of sertaline over the years (50mg-150mg and back)  And found that it has taken my body at least two- three weeks to adjust to the new dose. Don’t panic.
