Hello everyone

Yesterday marked 8 weeks on 50

Mg of Zoloft. And I’m still needing to take a xanax often to get me through as I still experience anxiety in the morning and during the day. I am able to function more than I was 8 weeks ago and do things but I still don’t feel like myself. My appetite comes and goes, mainly better during the evening. I’m wondering if I should stick to the 50 mg or a bit longer or increase to 75? I am just scared. Thank you .

I went on to 75mg and so glad I did. 50mg wasn't touching it but after 2 weeks on 75mg everything dropped into place. I hope it does for you too. After 8 weeks you have got all the side effects and benefits so far.

Hi jenna, sounds like you need to increase. I went up in 25s to 150 over a few months. You will know when youve reached the right dose for you as youll suddenly realise youve had no anxiety for a while.  It really works, just takes time and unpleasant side effects til it clicks. Good luck x

    Hi jenna324

I've been on a rollercoaster the last couple months with sertraline. My Dr increased my dose every 2 wks as I started very low at 12.5.  I call my Dr and follow up whenever I feel I need to. I am now at 50mg and been feeling better aside from a minor setback. If you still aren't feeling yourself and you've been on 50mg for 8 wks you might want to call your Dr.  I know how hard it is to increase but it's worth it if you're still not feeling yourself.  I'm here if you need to talk ????

It took me 10 weeks on 50mg to fell better now I'm ok still now on 12 weeks. I still have a few days where I don't feel as good but mainly if I have a cold or a bit run down . Maybe give it a week or 2 more before upping as side effects will come back in a higher dose

Are you going to stay at 50 or you want to up?

Staying on 50mg as anxiety is low and no panic attacks and it takes around 6 months to feel totally back to normal so I hear.
