Hi e everyone,

How was your experience on Fluoxetine for 8th week?

On Fluoxetine for 50 days today. 8th week For me, it's been a long time...but it doesn't seem to be long enough for Fluoxetine to work fully. I feel less anxious but NO major relief.

I need encouragement.....

Hello, I was on 20 mg or eight weeks as well and I had a hard time with it so I went back down to 10 mg. But now I am having withdrawal issues so if you can stick it out stick it out! Some people on this forum told me does not really kick in until 12 weeks.

      Hi

Thank you for responding. I've been on Prozac 20- 40-60-40mg in 8 weeks.. OK....I'll stick on it as you suggested. I changed meds 3 times before Prozac. For me, Prozac is least problematic.

I read your new post. Hope your brain will regain balance soon. It takes time to overcome withdrawal symptoms. I had a terribly, awfully, horribly hard time to overcome withdrawal symptoms from Lexapro (long time use).

      HI ricky 04578

      How are you doing?

      How's your condition?

Distract myself....easier to say but hard to do.

I'm still dissociated and occasionally depersonalized. Struggling with those weird things that are accompanied with severe depression.

i was on 60mg for 2 weeks....I was agitated. New doc reduced it to 40mg. He said it's over- activated. 2 weeks now since then. Agitation stopped. But my hands are still shaking....

hi yu. im having a mini panic right now but facing it. kept saying out loud im ok nothing is wrong etc. it seems to have subsided a little. i had a random day. i went to see therapist and then walked dog and decided to join a gym and then went to the gym. i cant believe i did that all in a day. im currently off work and they rang me to ask to meet so that set me off i think. i handled it all ok and my therapist knows how to calm me which is great. so negatives aside today has been ok. i feel the detachment but a lot of it is the spacey feeling from prozac. apparently its normal and just there to lift us out of where we are until we scratch at our issues with therapy. message me anytime if you need me to try calm you. have a good night mate

      Hi ricky

Hope your panic attack was gone. It's so unpredictable and stress us out. I don't have a panic attack this time.

You did so much in a day. I'm sure your brain is tired.

I don't have a spacey feeling from Prozac. I was so zone out on Cymbalta. SNRI isn't for me.

I cannot work till i can get rid of this..., I miss my work....so sad.
