I had my ankle fused 8weeks ago is it normal for the ankle to be swollen pretty badly I'm now partial weight bearing after about doing a mile on it it's so uncomfortable

I had ankle fusion 9 weeks ago and have been out of plaster 1 week .Ankle really painful when walking and weak . When will it improve as thinking of trying to see Surgeon
