8 years time to get off

hello everyone,

I am so sick of my weight gain and lack of a sex drive and it's time to get off this med! I am a newly Wed and I want to want to have sex, I have an amazing life and the original reason I started this was a huge custody battle that overwhelmed me on top of being a single mom. I want to go into 2017 healthy and on track. How do I I SLOWLU get off of sertraline? Im at 200mg and I think I should start tapering off by 25 mg but of course I don't know to measure that she. I have a pill, that is 100 mg each. Any advice ?

I have lost count of the number of times I've gotten on and off this med, but my case is different than yours. My best advice is to work with your doctor and therapist and taper very slowly.

Regarding the sex drive, I too dealt with that side effect but it went away.

    Best of luck!

I know what you mean when it comes to sex. Sucks not to feel as horny as before. It's def more work but I have a great imagine that helps. smile

I'd rather be less anxious than having crazy wild sex so it more of a choice. When I need to have sex, I can make it happen.

Of course I'm on 50 Megs and not 200mgs. There is no way you were more anxious than me so I wonder why your doc gave you so much. I'm glad I started low.

I had a lot of issues trying to calm myself down and some people just needs to take more I guess. I'm down to 150 now and doing great!
