Hi my dad has this sick feeling coming from the stomach moving up to his head and when breaths deeply it subsides but comes back. Had a stomach blood clot a year ago can anybody help?

It would be beneficial to record when these bouts of nausea and breathlessness occurs. Does he eat before it happens and what does he eat or drink? Does something stressful occur at the time?
Does it happen after sleeping? after doing chores or on exertion? keep a diary of time, day and date and see if a pattern emerges then you can go to the doctor with the info you have noted.....

Have you been to the doctor about this and if so what has been suggested? Is he still on treatment for the stomach blood clot? Maybe he is intolerant to the medication. My mum had a stomach blood clot before she died and she had to have anti clot medication injected into her abdomen.
