8th week on 100mg after 8 weeks on 50mg

Hi, Just want some assurence, been on 100mg increased from 50 mg for 8 weeks now, had loads of good days, still get some bad days, is this a blip or should I increase, or give it more time..Got GP appt 20th Aug. Thanks

    Hi Kells, if you feel your not 100% then yes I would increase but I would only go up to125mg . Give your doctor a ring and see what he says because everybody is different. xx

      Hi Thank you.. bloody anoying is in it, thought I was doing well... so dissapointed sometimes..

      Yes it is annoying because all you want is to feel better, but you do what you feel is right for you and your well-being.

    It's great that you're doing better. I'm 12 weeks on 150mg now and I'm having mostly good days, but still a few bad days. I'm getting night sweats at the moment that I believe are down to the meds as it's a common side effect of AD's. I'm also feeling sleepy every now and then in the day. Doc wants me to go up to 200 mg too!

    8 weeks seems long enough, I was told 10-12 weeks on higher dosages but I can't validate if that is true or not. Certainly seems that way in my case though.

    The bad days are expected. My doc made a point to tell me that these are not silver bullets and you will still have issues - just to a lesser extent because of the extra serotonin.
