    Hi Lisa,

Been 8 months for me. Still having stiffness, swelling and a little inside ankle pain. Just had an xray, will see what they find. It is getting better slowly, and people tell me it take a year or over sometimes. Hang in there.

I feel like I post this all the time but my frustrations are the same. I had a few surgeries, last one in 2018, fusion on my large toe. Let me say that it is always freezing and tingly and also feels like it goes numb! ALL THE TIME. Ankle had arthoscopy , ligament and tendon repair / replace and it still hurts.... all the time, too! I've tried to have a second opinion just to see when its going to ever stop hurting. No one answers . Its always the same thing , "did you have PT?" Yes... didn't work.

I can walk on them, I just want the pain to go away. Always feels like pins and needles and at times like a bunch of rubber bands are going to snap on me in there.

I can't be the only one?

I wish I was like some of the people on here who have such successful surgeries. Minimal pain and so on. Because at times I think I'm in a class all my own.

I hope you find the relief you want. Heck, I hope I find it! 😃

(Sorry, I think I just ranted on your post!! ))

I am 7 months post op and 3 weeks ago I had long stabilizing screw going through back of my ankle removed

I had stitches taken out a couple of days ago and ortho showed me xrays and all looks good but I also still get some numbness in my last two toes

I told him He said it can take up to a year to get full feeling back

My ankle does have more ROM without stabilizing screw and I can now walk down stairs using both feet which I couldnt do before

    Its a long process
