OK, so I have had anxiety for the past 5 years now and most recently i quit my very stressful job because the panic attacks were so hard to cope with, especially when i was working. I ended up becoming scared to drive to work which is only 1.5 miles away from my home and being scared of intersections and being scared to panic in the car as well. I went to my doctor and he prescribed me Sertraline at 50mg. I took that for about 4-6 weeks and still felt like s**t, so i went up on mu dose to 75mg and its now the 9th week and i still feel scared to leave my house. I have this weird feeling in mu stomach every time I even look in the hallway of my apartment complex. I cant even go and get my mail or packages from downstairs, Im scared about having a panic attack. I really dont know what to do? Should I keep going with this medication or just give up? I did sign up for therapy sessions that start next week but I am just unsure about what to do. All I know is sometimes ill force myself to sleep so I wont have to think wnymore and my brain will shut off. My doctor also took a blood test which showed I have thuriod disease (hypthyrodism) dont know what to do im just so tired of feeling like this
