I just read  an article in science daily, which reports that therapies which block signalling of LIGHT. (LIGHT is a cytokine primarily produced by T cells and exerts its function through two receptors, HVEM and LT?R. In an earlier study, Rana Herro, Ph.D., an instructor in the Croft lab and lead author on both studies, had shown that LIGHT plays a key role in skin inflammation in scleroderma, an autoimmune disease that results in the overproduction of collagen leading to the thickening and scarring of tissue.). Are showing promise f halting atopic dermatitis and the associated localised scleroderma.          Scleroderma is linked to lichen sclerosis.

i donT fully understand it and i am typing this in a w cm x4 cm square on my ipad, which makes posting a bit difficult...     hopefully somone will be able to put it all much better than me!
