A constant stitch like feeling on my left side which goes around the back . Been going on for months

Hello,

I wanted to post on here as this is really getting me down and wanted to see if anyone else has/had similar symptoms to me.

About Mid February, I started to get this strain under the left side of my stomach, just under my rib cage. At first I thought I had pulled a muscle as it wasn't painful, more of a discomfort. The weeks went on and I still has this discomfort in my side. I went to the doctors and they thought it may have something to do with my ovaries so sent me for a scan. They found a cyst but the specialist wasn't concerned. I then went for a blood test which showed I was low in iron. I then had an endoscopy which showed I had gastritis and bile in my stomach. They got rid of the bile while doing the endoscopy. I'm seeing the gastro specialist on Thursday to hopefully get some answers and get booked in for a colonoscopy. I just basically wanted to see if anyone else has had similar symptoms as this as it's been going on for three months now and the discomfort on the left side is still there right under my my rib cage and is starting to go around to my back now. I just want some reassurance and for something to be sorted now as it's really getting me down. I am suppose to be going away in 3 weeks and at the moment do not feel like going at all!

Sometimes I get that if I've eaten something I'm intolerant to. You could keep a food diary to see if something crops up.  Other than that, I suggest waiting to see what your other tests show up. Do you have coeliac disease already? Or is that one of the things they are testing for?
