I'm not sure where to put this in so i put this here
Tl:dr
Last night I had a one of the most vivd dreams I've ever experienced. I woke up in a cold sweat and nearly paralyzed by how real and shocking it was. I spent 2 hours trying to recuperate in the shower but even after that, 5 hours pass by, I'm still shaking. I don't know what to do with myself today. My stomach just feels like its constantly dropping and my day has just been clouded with the thoughts of that my dream. Its really got me shaking and I don't know what to do to calm me down.
Long version:
My dream started out in a bedroom. I was walking around the edge of the bed and my dead dog (who has been dead for 6 months now) is alive laying down on the floor. I go to pet him and his touch and smell and movements felt so real that I thought I was back in time. Not only that, but this girl named Emily was standing at the sink in front of the mirror with her back to me. Emily and I had a falling out about a year ago. I used to call her my best friend and I had feelings for her that she knew about. We were close to say the least and seeing her there was melancholy.
I noticed that her shirt and bra were off and I see her side boob, which arouses me, on the edge of her body. Even though she was standing in front of what I knew was a mirror, I couldn't see anything in it, just a blurry image of her figure. I hold my hand up to my face so I'm unable to see anything. I hold my other hand out and ask her to hand me my toothbrush and toothpaste, both of which she hands me without saying a word. As I walk away, I looked back and saw her smiling in the mirror at me. This made me feel warm on the inside and I left to go brush my teeth.
At this point I find one of my friends named Chris. I was at his house and I was trying to wrap my head around the fact that I had gone back in time and somehow made things work out with Emily. I told Chris that I needed to talk to him. I asked him if I still worked at old job that I had with Emily and him. He said yes and I asked him to tell me the date and he came up today's date. I kept asking him more questions and I noticed that he was acting weird and his answers weren't making sense. I then woke up in a cold sweat and was in shock. My stomach dropped and I was shaking and these feelings aren't going away. Today has been clouded with thoughts of that dream and I've been in a constant state of shock and have been having a lack of focus

Some dreams are so vivid they terrify us or leave us in shock. Don't worry it's a dream. It's not real. I've had them too they're horrible. You are reminiscing about the past. You wish your dog was still alive and your friend was still with you. I'm sorry it didn't work out with her. Sometimes it's difficult to let go of the past. I hope you get better👍

I would go spend the day with some friends to get your mind off things. Maybe you can talk to your friend or sibling about it so you can vent about it. It makes me feel better if I talk to people about what's bothering me.
