      Hi mason

They just gave me some morphine & antisickness meds (cause id been sick). No scan or anything, then they sent me home at 5am with some tramadol. They were very busy. Thanks for your msg.x

Why no scan? Just because they are busy? That's surely not right, it could of ruptured?

      Hi again

I dont know why no scan, the doctor just said that cause i was no longer in pain ( only cause off morphine & tramadol) that i could go home. He said if the pain gets bad again go back to a&e. The morphine has worn off now so im just trying to rest & take my pain meds. Hopefully the pain wont be as bad as that again. X

    Hi Cheryl,

I feel your pain, I've been up a&e since 2.30pm today and have only just walked through the door...I was so sure they were actually going to do something as the pain was so severe, but no such luck 😩

I have a large ovarian cyst (size of a melon) which has ruptured and is bleeding into itself. The pain has been bad since August (when I ruptured it in an accident) and day by day it's been getting slowly worse. I am now at the point where I can hardly move. I have been told I'm urgent as I'm in big danger of it twisting or bursting but they cannot operate until 3rd April, that's 4 weeks away.....I just don't get it. Every medical person I have seen said this needs urgent action but I've still been made to wait and suffer all this time. I'm now so scared, feel like a ticking time bomb, I have been forced to stop working and now will lose a months pay (as I don't get sick pay) before I've even had the op. So fed up of waiting 😕 like you I saw quite a few time wasters up a&e, laughing and joking, treating it like a family outing 😡

I really hope you get sorted soon xx

      Hi melmanda,

I know what your going through. Ive had to change my job ( i was working in a dementia home, which i loved). Im now working a desk job due to not being able to bend, move etc. I have been told that mine "could be leaking", but ive had no scan to prove this. Im now on a cocktail of medication, which just makes the pain able to cope with. They just seem to make to many people wait too long & i dont think half of the doctors etc understand or believe how painfull it can be. My 17 year old son seen me crying for the first time (it shocked him) ever cause of the pain. I totally understand what you mean by a time bomb, ive told my partner on lots of occasions that it feels like a bomb waiting to go off. I really do hope you get yours sorted asap. If we were animals we wouldnt be left in pain!!.hopefully our bombs wont go off before our ops. Best of luck with nhs. I really do hope everything will be ok for you.
