A few tips that helped me that may help you.

I was struck down with awful Virtigo around the start of February, the doctors have yet to give me an explanation but suspect I have inner ear damage.I am currently waiting for an appointment to see an E.N.T. For the first two months I could barely walk and did what I suspect a lot of people do and try to stay as still as possible and avoid situations that make me dizzy.Around the start of May after no improvement I decided to change tactics, I started a VRT programme on U tube by Byung Han a neurologist,he has many different videos for visual retraining and VRT that range from around 1-4 minutes long.I do around twenty minutes in the morning and night and it has helped me so much, the next thing I did was go to the places that make me dizzy which for me it was any supermarket as I couldn't focus and it would leave me very dizzy but over time it has improved. My next advice is water water and more water keep really hydrated,I started back working out and I run a boxing club so that keeps me busy, don't do to much to soon as a couple of times I've set my self back a little bit by exercising to much.I take a 1000mg of cod liver oil and multivits I don't know if they help but I take them anyway.I would say I'm 75 percent back to normal and hope to keep getting better just remember this is not permanent and stay positive. The last thing I will say is The VRT and visual training will make you feel worse before your better and you have to keep going it took around 4 weeks for me to see a difference.I hope this may help a few people as it helped me.

I have haemochromatosis and we with HH are generally low in good cholesterol, vit D and hormones. Now I see the link.
So, how is your GOOD cholesterol? Don't accept one number, ask for both LDL and HDL. Also request a test for Vit D, Vit B12, and Iron Studies/panels. Too much iron (as in haemochromatosis) can cause neurological problems (as does deficiency in Vit B12) and not many drs test Iron Studies. Just an iron test does not tell the whole story.
Vit D3 Forte drops work better than tablets. Some people cannot absorb Vit D via tablets (I for one), and some people cannot absorb Vit B12 via tablets (my husband in that case - that is how I know what a deficiency in Vit B12 will do).
