hi week 4 at 50mg getting used to all the side effects but a need a good nights sleep which a think contributes to the many side effects has anybody got any advice on.

    Hi John,

    i was having little sleep too, your GP may prescribe Zopiclone 3.75 mg. it's a low dose! But I found it does help. The Drs don't like dishing them out, so you'll be given them for short term use. Good luck.

      hi carol and thanks for your reply a had them a friend gave me some as a do not think the doctor would entertain that do you know when the natural sleep patern returns.

      Hi again John, I'm not sure when the normal sleep pattern returns, I sleep better if I go to bed relaxed in the first place. Hope you soon feel settled.

    John, do you take the med in the morning or night? I take mine at night. I enhance my sleep by also taking Amitriptyline, low dose. Works wonderfully for me.

      hi dawn a take it in the mornning a have tried amirtriptyline that gave me nighmares a could try the sertraline at night but as am getting better during the day would it not affect that a think the doctors throw you in at the deep end with these tablets.

    get some valium from your doctor. a small dose - 2.5 or 5mg did the trick for me in the first few weeks on 50mg.

      thanks for the advice there no keen to give them out but a need something up to 100mg no sleep high anxiety these things are no real.
