A Herpes Outbreak?

Posted , 3 users are following.

I got tested back in June 2018 due to what i think was a tear and i had high antibodies of HSV-1. The DR. said i was fine and didnt have herpes. Now this shows up and i go to a walk in and hes saying its looks like a herpes lesion. I have to get a PCR done tomorrow. Ive been with the same partner for over 2 1/2 years. The first pic was close to my vaginal entry and was In 2018. The other one is today. Does this look like Herpes? Ive also been suffering from BV since my new partner as well. Could it be possible having herpes this whole time and its causing BV? Nothing is curing my BV either.image

It might me herpes but to me it does not look 100% like it. Could also be some kind of bacterial infection. Please update us when you have your test results.

it looks like a herpes sore but if you tested negative before not sure. dont touch the sore with your fingers so you dont transmit it to your fingers incase it is herpes

i tested negative via PCR by blood. My parter had an IGG done and is positive for 1 & 2. I have no idea whats going on here. They tested us both differently. so does this mean i have Herpes? Going to call our primary dr tomorrow and see he will ne able to see us.

You can't test the blood by PCR. Only by swab.

You can test the herpes lesions with a PCR swab test. If your blood gets tested it needs to be an ELISA IgG antibody test or a western blot.
