hi John that's fantastic . I am also on wk 12 of which 5 weeks on upped serts of 100mg. I feel so much better also. I am doing everything I did before the anxiety started and going to the gym 4 times a wk which is keeping me calm. my side affects are now minimum like night sweats every couple of nights and gone from no appetite to eating everything! I can handle these though. I am also more aware of signs so if I start to feel stressed or anxious I slow down and learning to say no and not taking on too much has been a great tool. wishing everyone in early stages the best and hold on in there ☺

hi Cathy you will get there. I had to up to 100mg to get right level for me and I am now 5 wks in on upped dose and total of 12 wks. I haven't had a wobble on 2 wks and seem to feel easier about side affects and less worried about health issues so calmer in general. keep with it x

Is it normal to go down again and anxiety return or should I increase . I'm so worried. I was doing so well but maybe at 3.5 weeks its kicking in causing anxiety but will level off soon?? Thoughts anyone please

Iv two young children and I newborn and my partner has just suddenly lost his dad. Maybe the cause of going down as when he passed 3weeks ago I couldnt take it in at all

personally I think you need to allow more time I was on 50mg 6 wks before increasing and you are early days. plus it sounds as if you have a hell of a lot going on at the Mo maybe you need a bit of time out ie a hour to read or relaxing bath. I know it's hard with little ones I have 2 kids but if you don't look after yourself you won't get better and it will be harder. If after 4 to 6 wks your not seeing any improvements then maybe a review with your gp to discuss upping maybe needed. x

Hi Natalie, yeah I went back last week to GP to see about upping the dose but she said hang in for another couple of weeks on 50mg. If by next week (week 10) I still feel so anxious il go back. I'm nowhere near as bad as I was at the start of the year but I'd just like it all away lol thanks for ur reply 😃

Hi Rachel, 3.5 weeks is really early, it took me to at least 6/7 weeks on 50mg to feel the benefits. Everyone is different though. It's horrible feeling the way we do but I think you are too early to feel any benefits yet. I'm in week 9 at 50mg and my anxiety is back but nothing like it was before I started. Hopefully u will feel better soon x

Hi, I'm on week 7 with 50mg, couldn't cope with 75, so dropped back. Just returned from a weeks holiday in the Canaries, sunny and warm, first day was good, days 2-4 I had some anxiety and mood drop. But then it all lifted, I felt good, happier with things. I've found life difficult, my wife died 14mths ago aged 49, cancer. I've 2 daughters who are fab, one of my girls left for university, so a massive hole obviously. My other is at school. Plus my job turned in to a nightmare, stressed to the eyeballs and couldn't tell a key any more, so on sick leave. I truly hope I've turned the corner, my anxiety is so much better, mood is better, fingers crossed. Stick with it is my advice.

Hi Robert, I'm glad things are better for you.  Thanks for advice of sticking with it.  14 months isn't a long time in the grieving process, dip days could also be a part of this. I found counselling really good when I lost my mum who was my rock.  Take care

Thank you Cathy. I'm now 5weeks and my head is calmer but I always feel on edgevof a panic attack that is been held off its strange. I'm still spaced out but with flu this took 12wks to pass. Happy for all the people who are getting better smile x
