A problem I’ve ignored for years that is now freaking me out

It started in 2014... I was underweight and trying to gain weight but I started eating too much all of a sudden. My stomach was really upset all the time, I was sick and in pain and very nauseous especially when close to my period. The symptoms stopped as soon as I stopped forcing myself to eat too much junk. I’ve been eating junk and unhealthily ever since then, my diet hasn’t been the most rich in vitamins one either.

The problem is though, that ever since then my stool has always been yellow, light coloured, sometimes half yellow , half brown or greasy. The thing is, it’s never normal. I sometimes pass really watery ones and more than once a day or ones that look like a rabbit’s(rarely tho).

I should have went to the doctors years ago. Now I’m completely freaked out because I might actually have cancer and it might not be treatable anymore since it’s been so long. I’m particularly freaked out because I’m a bit sick right now too and have a bit of heartburn/

pain. I think it started (had it on and off) since I started taking Naproxen (went to the toilet after it to). Mentioned that to my doctor and he gave me something for reflux but the symptoms came back today even if I’ve not taken Naproxen in like 4 days.

Has anyone had any experience like mine? I’m gonna get a blood test on Thursday for my knees so idk if that’s gonna show anything related to my pancreas or liver...

Update: I’ve been having diarrhoea since yesterday and I get hungry but have a hard time eating because I seem to get full very fast. I checked the muffin I’ve just had and it doesn’t contain gluten or milk, just egg. I don’t think it’s allergy related...

Do you have your gallbladder? If so, it could be you have gallstones or an inflamed gallbladder. Blood work would be the first step regardless but there’s a certain panel that needs to be ordered. You need to see a GI specialist because a primary doctor won’t know what to look for.

I’ve never in my life had surgery so I do have it. I barely have any pain even now with reflux so I doubt it’s gallstones. Why are primary doctors so useless? They should at least have the decency to refer patients to specialists. I’ll phone tomorrow and tell them about my problems so I can get an appointment. As always, I’m thinking about the worst and it could be considering how bad my stools have looked for years and I’ve been ignoring it like an idiot.

It’s out of the primary doctors expertise. I’ve had all sorts of medical issues. I don’t have my gallbladder and the symptoms can mimic pancreatic issues as well. I also have chronic pancreatitis due to a congenital abnormality called Pancreas Divseam. It’s a rare condition. I’m one of those medical mystery patients LOL.

Wish you all the best and I hope you’re doing well now. I hope what I have is not too bad either.
