A second opinion helps

Hi everyone!

I went to a doctor yesterday to get a second opinion and it was the best decision Ive done so far. She discussed to me in detail the exact location of my fibroids (which my first doctor didnt). She told me that my fibroids are not a hindrance for me to get pregnant as it werent in the way of implantation of the embryo. I was very happy and relieved. Thank you ladies for giving me sound advice re: getting a second opinion. I realized that if we are not satisfied or if we have doubts on the treatment our drs gave us, dont hesitate to get a second or even a 3rd opinion. Thank you everyone! 😊

    Same thing happeed to me.

    First I was going to get mine removed, next I was informed explicitly by gyno how and why they do not need to go. It seems a common theme that we get told one thing and then another. I hope a lot of women read your post, because it is very hard news when you get it first x

      Good thing you get a second opinion. It was hard for me to process my situation when I first found out that I have fibroids. I'm glad I found a doctor who explained to me everything I need to know. 😊
