A single bump on my penis head.

Posted , 3 users are following.

I was cleaning my penis after i pee. and all of sudden, i found this res blotchy things on my penis. It totally freaked me out. I know googling your symptoms is a bad idea but i still did. There are so many possibilities.

At first the Doctor thought it looks like a syphilis. However, the results came back negative. My other std profile are clear as well.

It is not itchy. Neither is it discharging or what. I did put on some cream given on what the Doctor prescribe. I havent got any second opinion. Just wondering anyone experience something like this before ?

All i am worried about is it like a pre-cancerous or even it is a penile cancer symptom. image

What syphilis test did you have ? If it's RPR or VDRL, It takes more time to be positive. If your test was trep-sure syphilis test ( igm and igg. No need to get tested again. Treponemal tests become positive as soon as you have syphilis symptoms. Your infection may be caused by other pathogens. Many bacterias infect the penis even without having sex. It may just be a rash caused by non std bacterias or soap.

It doesn't look like squamous cell carcinoma. You are young and I have never seen in circumcised men.

    It doesn't look like melanoma.

Anyway you should see a dermatologist, if there is no improvement to rule out sarcoma. penile sarcoma is very rare . it's less than 1% of penile cancer. I am sure you don't have. but just in case , your lesion doesn't improve in a few weeks and for your piece of mind.

or it may be just a benign condition that has nothing to do with bacterias that needs to be biopsied.

To me it looks more like an irritation. Just keep your genital clean, and wash it with warm water. Avoid soap or chemical products in your penile skin.

Thx so much for the reply !! In a few weeks as in 2-3 weeks ?

The test are VDRL and TPHA. So the image has some resemblance to penile Sarcoma ?

But i thought chemical reaction/ irritation should be itchy ? and it should heal sooner ?

vdrl and tpha are negative, it proves it is not syphilis, penicillin did not cure it.

i don't think it's sarcoma. it's very rare, it may be many benign conditions, that's why it need to be biopsied if there is no improement. there are thousands of skin conditions. Many are benign. So it's better to see a dermatologist. he has the euipment and he is more experienced with skin conditions than a family doctor.

rash and irritation caused by chemical may also be painless and non itchy.
