Didn't have the problem with my scar.I had my staples out 8 days after and i didn't want to look at it afterwards. When i did i was really amazed at how healed it looked just within that time.Your scar does seem infected.I have had trouble sleeping.I didn't want hrt because i felt so well.I gave in at about 6 weeks as i was watching the clock most hrs.Was hiven patches but they didn't stick very well.I have now been given 3 months supply of hrt tablets and a weeks supply of sleeping tablets. They are very mild but i do sleep better but still wake up a couple of times.Don't seem to be getting the hot flushes at night but i am not sure if it is because of the hrt working or because the sleeping pills have worked. It will be interesting when i finish the sleeping pills. The problem then is i am meant to be going back to work next Mon.Good luck with your scar.
