A warning for Zoloft and citalopram

Consider very carefully if you are being offered these medications. Are you a deep thinker who is prone to mental health crisis? Once I started taking these, it completely altered my perception of reality, specifically of time. It distorted my internal thoughts, the way i notice things, my relationship with my body, and has turned every waking moment into a living existential hell. I am now in a psychiatric hospital when all I needed was a good sleep. Desperate for my old perceptions to return, but they do not. Consider these very, very carefully.

Hiya, im just curious to wat you meant by distorted thoughts, cuz people dont believe the anxiety/ocd has affected my way of thinking, its pretty much changed who I am, how I do things, how I perceive reality, I.e. situations and my judgments way off. Its also affected my behaviour around other people and made me into this horrible person, idk wat to really do in the meantime whilst I wait for my appointment which is 3 months away. Drs were gonna prescribe me with these medications and I was told, medication may not work for me however, but only make me worse. I was just wondering if u had the same experience.

Which meds have you tried.  Every anti-depressant I've tried made me more depressed. I found out I can't take them so I moved onto mood stabilizers.  When I tried a med called "Lamotrigine: it worked like a charm.talk  to your doctor about it.  You never know. Just don't give up.  I wish you the best of luck and find a doctor that can see you at least once a month.  Every 3 months is ridiculous when you/re experimenting with Phyc, Meds.  That's ridiculous..I see mine every month and if I need no see her earlier she will squeeze me in.  Besides, if you cant see a doctor for 3 months  means that they are too   busy and overloaded with patients and your just a number..Good luck and don't give up.  you're too important...

I was prescribed floroxtine, antidepressants and they sent me haywire, I felt so lost, almost like I was looking through a glass window, whilst my mind went bizerk. Its just a pain I have to wait another 3 months for cbt, and idk if thats effective, apparently it is but ill have to wait and see. But overall, its all a waiting game in the meantime.

Are u still in hospital? Are you being forced to take these drugs? When released you can make your own decisions as to whether to take these 'medications' or not. There is hope. The ineffectiveness of ad has been known for some time.

If only cbt, mindfulness, yoga, meditation had been suggested first.ke care keep strong . You will get through this. x
