A week of issues after SVT is this normal?

i had my first SVT attack since I was 17 years old. It was short but extremely aggressive about a week ago. Ever since it feels like I cannot get a full breath and I can occasionally feel a weird beat of my heart. Just enough to bother me especially while trying to sleep. I am concerned that something is very wrong. Can SVT effect you for days after an attack?

I feel exhausted for a day or so after but mine last up to four hours and I'm 63. I would go to the doctors.

the weird beat of your heart that you feel occassionally.. Look up PVC's skipped beats.. see if that fits what you feel.. I get them once in awhile but i read they are normal and everyone gets them. just some are aware and some aren't.   Logically I can't see why it would mess you up for days.. maybe SVT gives people anxiety issues, and you have to face anxiety ontop of everything else.

I do find that for a week after an episode I have thumps in my heart. I had an svt episode 3 weeks ago, for which I was given adenosine. Throughout the following week, I had weird beats in my heart. I now have had a holter monitor for 2 weeks and feel fine. Doing cardio also helps me feel better.

i have had these attacks for over 6 years, only started having them after taking high blood pressure medication. Originally diagnosed with panic attacks!!I I have  been taking Bisoprolol for 2 weeks to help stop attacks, but then I have had a severe attack of Deja Vu, which was not very nice at all!! Yes attacks can affect you for days after because you worry about getting one, and if you do not have one for a while you start to relax and enjoy life only to get another attack out of the blue, and start worrying about when you will get another! Tried all sorts of things to get rid of SVT, nothing seems to work for me!
