Abdominal cramps, back pain and health anxiety sky high

I've been in perimenopause and experiencing different symptoms from time to time, I'm 44. Lately I've been getting period like cramps (periods are normal for the most part), on right side, lower back pain and thigh pain. I've had my done pap and yearly physical in May, all ok. Since last few days I have been having racing thoughts, mostly negative thoughts, my health anxiety is sky high. My cramps are mild, but my health anxiety is sky high, putting my gut health at risk. Anyone else dealing with something similar?

My GI function has become abnormal recently. I have health anxiety pretty bad as well. I can rationally deal with things that are explainable, but this crap is just too much. I have other health issues with no explaining the cause, like mild positive Lupus. I personally want answers because I feel that the human body has the ability to heal itself with good nutrition and support and its within ourselves to help support our body back to a healthier state of being.

Have you had an ultrasound on your abdomen? I started having ovarian cysts on the right side only. I was about 46 at the time. I had one rupture, went to the ER and they concluded it had likely ruptured that day. Its an awful pain and the nausea that follows. I've got another recently thats about 2cm. I think its probably affecting my inconsistent ovulation cycle and is affecting my symptoms a lot more than usual. I experience what feels like sharp squeezing feeling pains and have pains here and there when bowels are moving along. Im saying all of this because it may help to look into things a bit more than an annual Pap smear. I had a uterine fibroid develop and it grew quite a bit the first year. I was hoping to have a hysterectomy but covid happened, lost my health ins and Im still living with this 6 cm fibroid. Things can pop up, if you can go talk to your GYN and see if they'll check things out. If any of these types of problems are there at least you would know where some of this is coming from. In my experience they have showed up suddenly and are not pleasant to live with. Hope you get feeling better inside and out.

Thank you for responding to my post. I definitely have my cycles come earlier than it used to so definitely hormones are shifting. I have an appointment coming up soon, so hoping it all turns out to be nothing bad. I am just taking one day at a time πŸ€žπŸΌπŸ™πŸ˜‡.

Thats been my experience as well. More frequent, as well as longer and heavier. From things Ive read theres something like 15% of women have it more often instead of less frequent. Watch your iron levels, folate and B12. My neurologist was particular about the B12. He said not to go by standard lab levels, and wanted mine to be no lower than 1,000. He said if you fall below 500, you'll likely be experiencing symptoms. I hope you feel better and keep your sanity it's very nerve wracking.
