Abdominal CT scan on a 6 year old.

i had an Abdominal CT scan when i was 6 year old it turned out to be nothing in the end, now i am 23 years old and feel a bit worried when ever i look back, why didn't my family doctors considered MRI? The machine was scanning adults moments before i went in and i am sure i got the high does as well.

although i never had any problems since then, my teen years went totally problem free. but what about the future? is there a way i can know if i got the damage or my body repaired itself?

i only had 1 CT scan in my life and couple of tooth X-rays.

maybe genetic test or a blood test that can detect these things? dna damage etc....

anyone else had similar experiance and how's it going?
