Where in the abdomen? What's your diet like? Any other symptoms? On any meds? Any IBS symptoms? Under stress? Other conditions?

Hi. You may have a Gluten Intolerance my dear. Ask for an Anti Gliaden blood test. If you alleviate Gluten in your diet, you may find a huge difference. I am a Celiac myself and only discovered this when I was in my late 40's. And usually when you are intolerant to Gluten you are often intolerant to Lactose. So check it out sweetie, or try eliminating the Gluten for a few days and see how you feel. There is wheat products in just about everything today and people often develop this intolerance from a overdose of wheat and gluten in their diet. Simple adjustments may help. xx

As another forum speaker suggested, do try and cut out any wheat and dairy products (which I know to be hard), but this may alleviate your symptoms. Good luck, Bron

5 years I kept asking what's going on..finally I was so tired of no Dr helping me that one day I just demanded it and said that it was interfering with all aspects of my life and please help me!
It was A new Dr, fresh out of Med school who got the ball rolling for me.
( It is important prior, to Dr visit, to first list family history, and both parents sides, especially anything related to arthritis or autoimmune diseases...
I suggest X-ray's on Saccriolliac hip joints especially if it hurts to walk sometimes, Mri and full bloods.
It wasn't until I had all them that I started to get some answers. And then a referral to rheumatologist. Sooner we get some progress.
If it's ankylosing Spondyloarthritis, and I hope it's not, the sooner you get pro-active the better you will be in the future. My personal aim is to reduce the inflammation asap before spinal fusion occurs.
Gd luck, kaulsahib...🐫
