Abdominal full hysterectomy

Hi, had a abdominal full hysterectomy in October 2021. Everything was removed including a very large fibroid. The shape of my lower tummy has changed a lot and I still feel numb. I was told by a nurse to massage my lower tummy and the feeling of numbness should go away slowly. My tummy just doesn't feel normal like before and i cannot get into my jeans as it is too uncomfortable, i keep wearing loose clothing. Recently I seem to be also getting acne! is this normal I am 45 years old, I have never had acne even in my teenage years. The doctors keep saying it may take 6-12 months to go back to normal. Is anyone out there having similar issues and has anyone got any advise?
