Abdominal hysterectomy

Hello

I will be going in for my hysterectomy on the 23rd. It’s unclear whether or not the hospital will provide an abdominal binder and/or pillow. From everything I have read they are essential when healing.  Does anyone have any recommendations that I can purchase before hand?

    I purchased mine from amazon, I didn’t stay at hospital so I started using mine on day 3. Best of luck. Stay strong

    Hi what is an abdominal binder and/or pillow??

    Ive seen on here some ladies have also said about a heat pad?  What are these for and why would you need them??

    I am due in next month for an abdominal hysterectomy.

    Best way to say like a back support belt, it’s used to help support pelvic. You can look it up on amazon for a visual. Heating pad I used for pain and keep warm first week.
