Abdominal swelling

Almost 2 years of testing and still no diagnosis although I'm sure I have CP.

More recently I have visible swelling left side close to my ribs and goes futher down? Can this be from CP? Or is this maybe water? It's not a small swellling, it sticks out! Abdominal pain, radiating back pain, stomach ache that never goes away. 

Fed up! Getting worse and still no answers....wtf!

Thanks for any heads up...

    two years and the Gastro doctor can't get a diangose? blood work has been done too? was  you a drinker?

    Any blood work? Drinker? Age?

      I'm Male, 41. I used to drink quite a bit but not a HUGE amount. 

      Bloodwork all clear except for a Gamma GT that sits at around 150. Lipase/Amylase never been elevated, ever. My bloodwork has been tested monthly for the past 2 years.

      Also have loose stool. Stool has been tested for fats etc but all ok.

      Wake up foggy, look exhausted, every day. Draining me whatever it is....

    Wait, Jon54193, are you a male or female, im sorry, because that makes a difference on possible diagnosis. It could be anything.

    My partner hasn't got his official diagnosis yet and he's been bad for 10 years.hes had cameras up and down, die as well as barium chest xray. Abdominal ct scan and we're pretty sure it's cp.he gets pain all the time and it moves around.pain under bottom of left ribs,permanent swelling of abdomen and pain in spine,kidneys and left side of back.looks pregnant.he uses ibuprofen gel,gabapentin, colofac,omeprazole and amitriptaline and paracetamol, and he uses a massage seat which can sometimes help.u need to persist at doctors but if pain is too bad, go to a&e.

      Sorry forgot to say, my partner used to drink a lot.also just cos it's taken so long for him to get help it doesn't mean u will.if you're not getting anywhere with your doctor, try someone else,but I hope you get help u need
