Abnormal ecg?

Posted , 3 users are following.

My doctor says I have some inverted T waves on my ecg.. the one I had done in 2013 did too. I asked another doctor for his opinion and he didn’t seem concerned.

Does anyone else have these or know what they are ?? I’m panicking .. no scary stories please !

I’m 27 and suffer with awful anxiety and palpitations

How many EKG's have u had done? Sometimes the machines have false readings it is definitely a possibility that the reading was off but to ease your mind try and get another one done maybe it will no longer show up and that will ease your mind

I had one in 2013 and one done last week- both had them

I also had a 24hr ecg in 2013, no mention of them on that

I don't really know what inverted t waves are what is that if your doctor isn't concerned it must not be life threatening

      Horrible isn’t it

Are you a smoker? If you aren’t then it won’t be COPD

Without seeing the tape I can’t say, but I would see a cardiologist instead if you only saw a primary.

the T Wave in younger people can be viewed as normal.  So age 22 and some now... what was the reason for ecg then and now?

Very high stress causing cranial pressure could alter an ecg.

Depending on the depth of the T Wave.  If they only ran ONE ecg then I’d see a cardiologist just for more study.

the anxiety is a total other layer of symptom... palpitations is leading responses to fear.  Even I get them ALL the time... Stress, low blood sugar, bloated stomach can cause palpitations... Even a bad thoracic chest curve can.  all nothing to worry about.
