Abnormal ECG

Posted , 7 users are following.

I have just had a phone call from the clinic who say that my ecg reading was abnormal and they are wanting me to go to RUH for another reading, which could take months.  This is odd, because I had an ecg taken in December, and it was normal, but was read by the GP, not a cardiologist.

By the time the ecg at the clinic was taken, I was feeling pretty stressed, and uncomfortable because of the central heating, which I reat to ver badly.  I had already been seen by two other staff members, and the physiotherapist, who was the second person, was quite bullying and upsetting, leaving me feeling very stressed out.  The ecg was the last thing to be done, before the lung exray.

Very upset, as this could prolong things by months.

Right now, it looks as though my surgery is going to be put off by months. although they say the abnomal reading does not show any life threatening situation.  They just need to know how to manage it if it ctually exists at all!

Many thanks:  They wont tell me anything, but have sent the ecg reading through to my GP.  Reading at surgerylast December was normal.  So, I have no idea what they have found.  Told me I may have to wait several months for an appointment at RUH in Bath.  Trying to get hold of the various people I need to talk to, but nobody is around.  Typical!  No history of heart problems in my faily, either!
