Abnormal Memory Fogginess, Help?
Posted , 3 users are following.
Hi, I am 14 years old and I have a memory problem. My mom will ask me something and I will forget it five seconds later. She has also told me that sometimes I sit there with a blank look on my face like an elderly person. I have neurology appointment, but I can't wait until then. I just want to hear some ideas... I have been told that sometimes the cause of it is a brain tumor, and I am avoiding the possibility of that. Suggestions/Ideas?

Hi Nova,
The best thing you can do is try not to worry about it.
You need to see your neurologist and listen to what they say.
That's their job and that's what they are paid to do.
So the best thing to do - is make an appointment, and you already have this done.
So now, there is absolutely no need to be worrying.

Dont worry about a brain tumour...the answer is probably much simpler.Teenage brains go through lots of changes and this can cause memory loss, and fogginess, which many adults find very frustrating. How much sleep do you get at night? You should be aiming for 8 hours sleep and no computer or phone work an hour before then. You may have a thyroid problem even. Dont worry about this.
Are you an only child?

I had bloodwork done, which I got the results today... There appears to be nothing that was found wrong, so I have to wait for my next appointment next month,
