Abscess on gum

I have an abscess on my gum i have no teeth so i am a little confused on how i got it. I have had it for about 6 months now and it's getting worse and worse. I do have an emergency appointment for my dentist but it isn't for another month. Anyway i just wanted to see if anybody else has had this.

It poped up about 3 weeks after surgery to remove my remaining teeth. Was ignored for awhile thinking it was just my gum but it's not it's hard and feels like a tooth.

    Hi,

if you are in pain get to a dentist asap. It might be an infection that could be helped with a course of antibiotics.  I havent had teeth regrowing, but I have had dental abscesses and they need to be treated quickly.

I am seeing a dentist but it's june 26th the only appointment they had for me. Can't afford private dental. It is infected has been for about 4 months my gp knows and can not keep pumping me with antibiotics they stop working when it's what i get for everything. Penicillin would be best but i am allergic to it.
