Abscess squeezed without incision!? Help

Hello, im new to this group and i hope someone can help me

I had an abscess on my groin that was painful so i went to my doctor and he gave me bactrim, after i finished therapy nothing changed.

Went again today and he just squeezed my abscess without incision (it was painful as hell) and gave me another round of stronger antibiotics. But what concernes me now is that he didnt squeeze all of the pus out cause i can still feel the hard stuff under my skin and now im so afraid of the infection spreading since i know it is not okay to squeeze an abscess.

Anyone had similar experience?
