Abuse

I had been dismissed from my job due to "abuse". If a service user with full mental capacity asks if they could have a tattoo but you say no and they ask if you can draw one and you do is that classed as abuse?

    Hi Vicky,

Sorry to hear about your situation. I agree with Bob, Citizens Advice maybe a good starting point. If you were in a Union they may also be able to give you advice.

It's difficult to comment on a situation when you are not in full possession of all the facts.

    Good luck

As others have said we don't have all the facts of the situation but from your description of the situation it sounds confusing. You tell the service user no then draw a picture of the tattoo?

It would at very least confuse the service user and I doubt promote a therapeutic relationship. However what was said between the no and the drawing of the picture is unknown.

I wish you luck and agree your union or CAB would be useful points of contact.
