I am 5 days away from getting my test exam of having a positive or negative result of genital herpes . I was with my partner on a perfect date, and as you all must know... sex is not planned it just happens. Did use protection, however it was the first time ever, and this happened. When I started to get a bump I thought it wasn't so serious, but couple days pass and it starts to burn when I pee. The day I go to the doctor she tells me that it is smiliar to herpes. I ball my eyes out, and those few hours, I was depressed felt like a piece of nothing. Further along the day though I told my closest family, and they are supporting and giving me hope in which ever path I deserve to learn a lesson. Any other related stories I would like to hear how you are surpassing it, or vise versa. Remaining calm ✊.

Right now you're in a state of shock, be prepared for results coming back positive, because you're going to feel devastation. It is a grieving process for sure and we all go through the stages, but as tie goes on it dies get better.
So you only had that one bump?

Soak in Epsom salt baths ad much as possible during symptoms. Apply a heavy coating if Vaseline to sores to help w friction and when you pee, keeping them dry is a wives tale and no medical stuff can back it up. The sores will be present regardless if dried or not, if the virus is still present wet or dry! Don't feed into the fallocy and you will get much needed relief . sprsujng bactine numbing spray in first will help.. Sting at first, but it'll help. Also wrap a cold pack in paper towels and place between your legs when resting.. 800mlgs of motrin every 4hrs will help as well. The rest, yij gotta just ride it out. Just know there is an end and peeing in a shallow bath will help too.
