Either way I deserve better. Im still trying to accept i have this...i was in denial but i had my second outbreak today...not nearly as bad as the first...tomorrow is my 32 birthday and im having an outbreak...happy freakin birthday!! I just need support from people who understand...

I totally understand what you're going through. The guy I was w denied it as well. They deny it for a couple reasons. 1. They knew or suspect they have it. 2. They do not want to accept what that means for them, because it means changing their sex lives. 3. Some really don't know they havit, as it 80% are asymptomatic. Funny, today is my one yr anniversary w this, tomorrow is my bday and I still am having a mild OB that won't go away.

I stopped taking my probiotics, cause I ran out, so you need to start taking a daily probiotic. That helped w my symptoms immensely.

Have you been to a doctor yet?

Yes i have been...i was in denial until this ob. But my test came back positive for hsv1. I don't take probiotics but i will start plus a multivitamin. Its hard...i cry a lot but i gotta keep pushing...this ob isn't as painful as the first just itches like crazy!!!

It's normal to feel that way, we all do. When a month goes by, you'll realize you think of it less and less, every month.

As for the itching, not sure if you're in the US or not, but use bactine to numb the area. Also, Epsom salt baths clear it up much faster and give relief from the itching. The longer you have this, the less recurrents will cause itching... The first few months the nerves are irritated and misfiring, resulting in itching and irritation.

I cried like every day for two months straight, so don't feel bad. It is a grieving process and you will come to terms w it eventually

IMO, that stuff is no good and can cause burns on the skin. Tea tree oil will not numb it, so get the bactine. I even used bactine this morning for my OB in the crease of my groin, because it was hurting so much, it hurt to walk. Now I'm fine.

When I was itching so bad I felt I'd go insane during my primary OB, I lived in the tub. The Epsom salt baths were the only thing that made the itching stop. Not only that it cleans the sores and helps stop the shedding of the virus. Had I been taking my nightly baths when I have symptoms like I normally do, this would have been gone in a couple days, but I hate bathing when it's as hit and humid as it is now, so make sure to do that.
