ache in leg....was numbness

I stsrted with pins n needles and numbness in my left leg about 8 months ago, have had NCS and mri on spine all ok.

Still get times of numbness as also twice on side of my face, felt very

sensitive.

Now I have for last week or so, had dull ache in leg and it feels tight at

times

I have been back to see my gp and ge has prescribed me amitriptyline

10mg to try as he said it is used to ease nerve pain. I was bit aprehensive

so checked with chemist and he said its low dose for nerve pain

So I am starting the tablets this evening...

Anyone any ideas or suggestions? Fed up of it all now.

    I think u could have a scitac nerve, my father couldn't walk. He went to an acupuncture guy and fix him in 2 weeks. You can also get it in your arm. Try it, its worth it in the long run.

    Ask for vitamin b12 test. Look up neurological b12 deficiency symptoms. It is not a routine blood test and is often missed by drs

      I had a thorough bood tests before mri n ncs etc

      B12 was fine too...
