Aches and pain under my left rib

Anyone else ever experienced like aches and dull pain under your rib it's a weird feeling like it's a muscle throbbing just asking maybe it's just another symptom I feel like a hypo but I've been getting these weird things like my wrist has been unbelievable the pain at night sometimes it is so bad it wakes me and we all know once we are up we are just that does carpal tunnel affect you as well grrrr please enlightened me

    Yes I have had that dreadful sensation. It comes and goes. Haven't had it for a while now. My struggle now is this weird sensation in my left chest above my breast that moves into my shoulder and arm. Sometimes I feel like I can't breathe even though I'm clearly breathing but it's just this odd sensation. Have you ever gotten that?

    I didn't have pain under my rib. But I had a lot of pains in my feet. Every time I got up in the mornings or even watching a film when I had to go to the loo (which is fairly frequent). Just for the first minute or so when I got to my feet I would hobble along like an old woman.

    This went within a few days of taking HRT. My back is also not as achy when I lean over the bath to wash my hair.

    Yes to the pain under left rib, for me it's a gastro thing. I also had over the weekend a sharp pain in the right hand / wrist which was fleeting sharp pain. It coincided with the stomach pains . I believe it's called deferred pain. Ie I can have gas pains which cause pinching pains in my calf muscle or buttock/arm. Just stupid random fleeting sharp pain and then il burp.

    Yes!!!! omg I been having this awful feeling on my upper left side. Like under my rib. It's like a dull ache and it's very scary just thinking what it could be. I also started having bad acid reflux so I don't know if the two are related. Sometimes I feel discomfort and burning pain under my left breast area and I think is probably from the heartburn. I know that I have to get an Endoscopy soon.

      I have not had any pains under my rib. But was suffering acid reflux badly for a few months. GP put me on Lansoprazol a proton pump inhibitor. I really didn't like the fact that these medications affect bone density and while using it several of my teeth crumbled.

      As bone density decreases with menopause I decided against taking it.

      I have been using 1 teaspoon of bicarb in a glass of water if it's really bad and drinking ginger tea (steep some fresh ginger in boiling water and drink. I have also made little bombs of ginger powder by filling a rizzla paper with it twisting it up and taking one before meals.

      It does seem though that this has got a lot better than it was at one point. I'm taking HRT but only for last month so I'm not sure why it's got better unless it does have something to do with the ginger.

      My doctor gave me a prescription for Omeprazole 20mg for the acid reflux. It helps a little but I still have that dull ache on my upper left side, like under the ribs. Even in the mornings when I'm laying on my left side and I tried to move I feel the dull ache more. Hopefully when I get the endoscopy it will show what's going on, if it's even stomach related. Very frustrating not knowing what this all could be.

    Phew thank goodness. Yes!! I have this pain under my left rib to. Usually when I lie down at night.
