    hi

sorry to hear all you are going through.

i had the low mood, pain, fatigue etc when i was vitamin D insufficient.

It can take up to 3 months of supplementation for the symptoms to clear up.

So you'll have to be  a bit patient i'm afraid.

i know its hard but from experience the pain does reduce and eventually goes.

you can speed things up a bit if you live in the UK since the rays from the summer sun can stimulate the skin to make vitamin D. but be careful not to overdo it or you'll create other problems!!

i think the recommendation is 20mins 3 times a week.

    good luck

I was vit D 26 and started on supplements. I also lay out in the sun when it came out for a short while I am now up to 62.  It is important not to use sun shield as it will block the vit D. As dambudzo says don't overdo it though, skin cancer is a lot worse! They reckon it takes around three months to get vit D improvement.

Hi I suffer demo restless leg syndrome about this time every year and it drives me to distraction. Currently suffering from it again which is why I was look at this thread . It turns out that it's because I'm am vitamin D deficient. A few days after I get my injections of vitamin d the restless legs disapear. The doctor just said some people just don't get enough sunshine and cover up especially in the winter and so they get deficient. unfortunatly wairing for an appointment at the surgery and then for the blood test result and then appointment with the nurse to get it done is another couple of weeks of not very much sleep and a lot of irritability. I will however start taking supplement which I sat I will do every year and forget so end up like this. Hoping urs is something as simple as this x
