Achillies Tendon MRI

I am not sure if this is the correct place to post this question. I injured my Achillies tendon back in the beginning of November 2018. The doctor placed me in a hard cast for 6 weeks and now a walking boot. There is no change and I had a MRI done. which stated Moderate sized tibiotalar join effusion. Moderate thickening 8mm tiny foci of linear signal with microtearing.

Has anyone else had this injury? How long did it take to heal?
