Either your stomach acid is too low, which is very common in reflux patients, or you have a hiatal hernia. A good chiropractor can fix the hernia easily. Watch this -
I have silent reflux and am seeing my chiro tomorrow to be adjusted. I also started taking Betaine HCI with my meals to help create more stomach acid. Our stomach acid gets lower as we age and when that happens, the sphincter at the top of the stomach, which is the flap that keeps food in our stomach, relaxes and opens, allowing food and acid to go up out esophagus. (stomach acid keeps it shut) Most MDs will say we have too much stomach acid and don't give the sphincter a second thought. They prescribe drugs that reduce our stomach acid even more and that leads to dangerous side effects and does NOT fix the root of the problem. Google natural remedies for reflux. Organic apple cider vinegar in water with some stevia a couple of times a day really helps too. 2 tbsps per glass of water. Some naturapaths say take a tbsp of ACV in a small amount of water before eating. That helps the stomach digest the food efficiently. Be sure it is ORGANIC APPLE CIDER VINEGAR and not the cheap vinegar in the baking section. There should be a good amount of sediment in the bottom of the bottle.
