Hi Jackie I'm pulling my hair out two,I've had a bad cough and cold, but some how ive been left with a itchy throat, the doctor has increased my lansoparazole and I'm taking gavascon advanced which has helped a bit, also sleeping propped up,I do suffer from anxiety too, have tried cutting out alcohol also. I wish I could find some thing too, feel like it's never going to end, my ribs so soar from all the coughing. I've just taken some coconut oil,it's not very nice but will try any thing if it helps.

Try a low acid diet avoid things like sugar, fatty foods, carbonated drinks, citrus fruits or fruit juice, pickled foods, caffeine, alcohol, etc. If it is really bad you could try zantac or maybe nexium. Hormones can affect reflux so maybe keep a diary of what time of the month you get affected worse and keep a note of what you eat and drink and what makes it worse.

Maybe you could ask for an endoscopy as their maybe something causing the reflux.
