Can a gastroscopy worsen acid reflux?
Since my gastroscopy yesterday Ive been having the worst acid reflux symptoms Ive ever had. Could acid reflux symptoms be caused from the gastroscopy? Had anyone else had this?

I would think it’s very unlikely.
Give it a couple of days and I’m sure all will be good.
I have had many over the past 6 months and I would suggest it’s a normal response.

past experience would suggest that a few days will remove your symptoms . Not a doctor , But somebody who has had many upper endoscopies. our bodies are remarkable machines. On the occasions we interact in a way that’s out of the normal it take a “time out “ to reset. As I said , not a doctor but past experience would suggest not to worry. Of course go to doctor if worried. Best wishes and regards. Tim w
